NYC Candlelight Vigil for Sikh Temple Tragedy

A diverse crowd was drawn to the north side of Union Square Park August 8th to hold a prayer service for victims of the Wisconsin Sikh temple shooting. Intersections joined in with about 1,000 New Yorkers, along with other inter-faith organizations and a large Sikh community, to stand in solidarity against the violent attack that took place August 5th in Oak Creek, killing seven and injuring dozens. Intersections supports and grieves with our Sikh friends, family, neighbors and colleagues, and holds hope as we work together toward peace, reconciliation and justice.
