Euxhenia Hodo is a United Nations fellow focused on gender-based violence for Intersections International. A recent graduate from John Jay College of Criminal Justice majoring in International Criminal Justice, Hodo also earned a Bachelor’s degree in law from her native Albania. Hodo is very passionate about issues such as: Female Genitalia Mutilation, gender imbalances, equal pay between men and women, healthcare and medical treatment of female inmates and women’s rights. Hodo is fluent in Albanian, Italian, Spanish and “broken down” Portuguese. She is currently working with healthcare and medical treatment of female inmates in New York City, and aspires to continue her Masters studying human rights.
